Traditional hair restoration procedures use either strip or FUE methods of transplanting healthy hair follicles from a donor site on the scalp to a recipient site without treating the hair follicles to increase the chances of long term survival and an optimal result.

Dr. Goldfarb offers patients hair restoration treatment with the added advantage of Selphyl® for results that will be more voluminous and healthier. Incorporating the use of Selphyl® in the hair restoration process enables Dr. Goldfarb to significantly improve the density and quality of new hair growth. We offer two options for hair restoration, both using Selphyl® enhanced platelet rich plasma (PRP) to stimulate and enhance the quality of new hair growth:

PRP Injection Treatment
For patients who are experiencing thinning hair or a receding hairline, or those not yet ready for the FUE process, Dr. Goldfarb offers PRP treatment as a series of injections that will stimulate hair growth using a patient’s own blood that has been spun in a patented centrifuge with Selphyl®.
This unique treatment option is non invasive and best suited to patients beginning to experience hair loss and hair line recession. Dr. Goldfarb will create a custom PRP serum using the patient’s blood and Selphyl® that will be injected into the affected areas over a period of several months.
